WHO WE ARE
Appointly operates this website and booking platform. You can reach us at the support address shown in the site footer.
WHAT WE COLLECT
• Account data: name, e-mail address, password (stored only as a salted hash) and your account type.
• Booking data: the appointments you make or receive, including the name, e-mail, phone number and any notes entered when booking.
• Professional and organization profiles: what you choose to publish, such as name, headline, photo, languages and location.
• Technical data: a session cookie, a security (CSRF) cookie and, if you choose, a theme preference stored in your browser.
WHY WE USE IT
To run bookings (so the right people see the right appointments), to send confirmations, changes and reminders by e-mail, to keep the service secure and to answer support requests. We do not sell personal data.
WHO SEES IT
A professional sees the details of people who book with them. Members of an organization see appointments for the team they belong to. Service providers process data on our behalf — for example, sending e-mail — under appropriate terms.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Booking records are kept while the account exists so professionals keep their history. Guest bookings are kept as booking records for the professional they concern. You can ask us to delete or anonymise your data at any time.
YOUR RIGHTS
Where the GDPR or similar law applies you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing and to complain to your data-protection authority. Professionals can export their client list to CSV from their workspace. To exercise any right, contact us using the support address in the footer.
COOKIES
We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and protect forms. We don't use advertising cookies.
CHANGES
If we change this policy in a meaningful way we'll update this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders.
